A special place of healing, a quiet place of peace
And everyone who dwells there finds rests beneath God's wings
In the shade of His pavilion, in the strength He always brings.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1
Whenever this verse comes to mind, I always think of Corrie Ten Boom - perhaps because she, too, took refuge in God's secret place and provided refuge to others in a time of need.
What a beautiful promise, that if we abide in HIS secret place we might be sheltered under his shadow. Ever protected. Ever safe.
